Heath and Shrub

Heath and shrub is a habitat type that covers a wide range of vegetation; areas with small bushes and shrubs in the temperate zone, atlantic and alpine heaths, the sub-alpine shrub-zone, low-growing scrub of dwarf conifers, such as juniper, areas of forest regeneration, and hedges. Many butterflies can be found when this vegetation is rich in flowers ( C-31).
