Spialia therapne

Description:
This butterfly is the smallest of the European skippers; the wingspan of the males is only two centimetres across, that of the females slightly more. They can be found on grassy, flower-rich patches among scrub and rocks.
It has two broods a year.
This skipper used to be considered a subspecies of the Red-underwing Skipper (S. sertorius) and resembles it closely in the way it lives.
