Balkan Green-veined White

Description:
The Balkan Green-veined White is very similar to the Green-veined White and the choice of biotope is almost identical. The butterflies are often found on vegetation along hedges and at the edges of woodland, and also in woodland clearings. Eggs are laid on various crucifers.
This butterfly species has two to three generations a year and hibernates in the pupal stage.
