Furry Blue

Description:
The Furry Blue occurs on dry, flower-rich, grassy vegetation with scrub, on waste ground, and in clearings in deciduous or coniferous woods.
The female lays her eggs on Sainfoin (Onobrychis viciifola), and possibly also on various medicks (Medicago spp.).
The butterflies are attended by ants. Hibernation takes place when the caterpillars are still small.
