Description:
The Dalmatian Ringlet occurs on dry grasslands with scattered bushes, on rocky slopes.
The female lays her eggs on Sheep's-fescue (Festuca ovina), depositing them a few at a time one tussock after another.
The Dalmatian Ringlet has one generation a year.
