Greenish Black-tip
Description:
The butterflies of the Greenish Black-tip are found on dry, grassy vegetation on calcareous soil, and in rocky areas.
The caterpillars feed on Rampion Mignonette (Reseda phyteuma), Boleum asperum, and Eruca vesicaria, eating the leaves as well as the ripening seeds.
The Greenish Black-tip has several generations a year, and hibernates as a chrysalis.
