Greek Clouded Yellow
Description:
The Greek Clouded Yellow is found on dry grasslands with scattered bushes and in open coniferous woodland.
The female lays her eggs on the leaves of its larval food plant, Astracantha rumelica and the Milk-vetch (Astragalus parnassi), that are often abundant in the habitats.
This species has one generation a year and hibernates as a young caterpillar, finishing its growth and pupating in the spring.
