Description:
This butterfly used to be considered as a subspecies of the Furry Blue (P. dolus). Their lifecycles are very similar. The butterflies can be found on flower-rich, grassy vegetation in rural areas, on waste and agricultural ground, where the females lay their eggs on Sainfoin (Onobrychis viciifolia).
This butterfly has one generation a year and hibernation is in the larval stage.
